True leadership begins with a heart dedicated to serving others. For Mayor Ricky Ramo Cuenca, public service is more than a responsibility it is a commitment to create meaningful change and bring progress closer to every community in La Libertad, Zamboanga del Norte.

With years of experience as a Sangguniang Bayan Member for nine (9) years, Mayor Cuenca developed a deep understanding of the needs, aspirations, and challenges faced by the people he serves. His journey in local governance became the foundation of his vision for a more responsive, inclusive, and progressive municipality.

On July 1, 2025, Mayor Cuenca officially began his leadership as Municipal Mayor after receiving the trust and confidence of the people. Since then, his administration has focused on strengthening community programs and implementing projects that reach various barangays of La Libertad.

A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Industrial Education (BSIE) from Jose Rizal Memorial State University (JRMSU), Dipolog City, Mayor Cuenca carries the values of education, perseverance, and dedication into his leadership.

Recognized as a young and energetic leader, he continues to inspire through hands-on governance and a forward-looking approach. His leadership reflects a commitment to listening to the people, responding to their needs, and working together toward sustainable development.

As La Libertad moves forward, Mayor Ricky Ramo Cuenca remains dedicated to one vision: a municipality where every citizen has the opportunity to grow, prosper, and experience meaningful progress.
